We love this - Robbie McEwen reckons that during this 'mini Paris-Roubaix' of the Tour de France, riders were literally "doing the BikeExchange"!
The road riding weapons were replaced with pave style machines to help riders get over the difficult and infamous cobbles.
What does this mean? Fatter tires, suspension, and some bikes with center brakes on handlebars to ensure maximum handling control.
