Brett Lancaster – or ‘Bert’ as he’s known – originally comes from Sheparton in Victoria’s North-east. It’s a town we’re guessing is bursting at the seams come Christmas, when all of Brett’s 120+ family members come together to celebrate.
Yep – all 120+. He has 41 first cousins.
That’s a lot of turkey and a lot of goodwill and support from back home when he heads off to race overseas, we’re guessing.
