Stage 8's 112 mile saw riders finish on Mur de Bretagne, where Cadel Evans took the stage win back in 2011.
Cyclists this year had to contend with a head wind going into that final climb, but Backstage Pass is once again more about the antics and behind-the-scenes goings-on.

Surprisingly it's as much about golf today as it is the TDF, with some of the team trying to perfect their swing - almost to the detriment of a few passers-by....

We're relieved to hear a stop was made during today's stage so the team could collect TDF merchandise jocks for all members - everyone knows jocks and socks are a universal treat for fellas so that should have gone down well once the boys got off the bike.
There's a bit more banter about language today, although this time it's the Aussie/Kiwi dialect in the firing line. And we also witness some of the mass hysteria for current King of the Mountain, MTB-Qhubeka p/b Samsung's Daniel Teklehaimanot.
