Orica-GreenEDGE rider Michael Albasini paid another visit to the BikeExchange pop-up store at the Tour Down Under Village for a chat following another successful Stage 4 of the Santos Tour Down Under.
The OGE boys can do no wrong as they made it three wins from four starts at the 2016 Tour Down Under, and four out of five if you include the People's Classic on Sunday night. Michael talks through the work of the team during the stage to keep Gerro out of trouble and in contention for the stage win. Things went to plan for the riders, but no so much for the support staff. The Orica-GreenEDGE team car suffered a pretty nasty crash on course, but thankfully everyone was okay. Aside from a sheepish driver, it will be all systems go for stage 5.
Once again, Michael takes us through the final few miles of the stage, giving a great insight into the role that lead-out man Daryl Impey played in Gerro's victory. Daryl has been the unsung hero for Orica-GreenEDGE at the Tour Down Under, providing the perfect lead out for Caleb on Stage 1 and giving Gerro an arm-chair ride on every other stage.
Sit back and enjoy our final pop-up store interview of the Tour Down Under with the Orica-GreenEDGE team.
